Overview

This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, refunds, and returns related to web development services provided by Klixarundlox. As web development services are custom, intangible services rather than physical products, our return and refund policies are designed to be fair to both parties while recognizing the nature of our work.

Service Cancellation

Clients may cancel a service agreement with Klixarundlox under the following conditions:

  • Before Work Commences: If cancellation occurs before any development work has begun, a full refund of any deposit or payment made will be provided, minus any administrative fees as specified in the service agreement
  • During Development: If cancellation occurs after work has commenced, refunds will be calculated based on work completed to date. The client will be responsible for payment of all work completed up to the cancellation date, and any remaining balance of the deposit will be refunded
  • After Completion: Once a project is completed and delivered, cancellation is not applicable. However, clients may request modifications or additional work under separate agreement terms

Refund Policy

Refunds for web development services are handled on a case-by-case basis:

  • Deposit Refunds: Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, except in cases where Klixarundlox is unable to fulfill the agreed-upon services
  • Partial Refunds: If a project is cancelled mid-development, a partial refund may be issued for work not yet completed, calculated based on the percentage of work remaining
  • Full Refunds: Full refunds are available only if cancellation occurs before any work has begun, or if Klixarundlox fails to deliver services as specified in the service agreement
  • Processing Time: Refunds, when approved, will be processed within 14 business days and returned to the original payment method used

Unsatisfactory Work

If you are not satisfied with the completed work, we encourage you to contact us immediately to discuss your concerns. Klixarundlox is committed to client satisfaction and will work with you to address any issues:

  • Revision Requests: We offer reasonable revisions as part of our service to ensure the final product meets your expectations
  • Dispute Resolution: If revisions do not resolve concerns, we will work with you to find a mutually acceptable solution
  • Quality Standards: All work is completed according to industry standards and the specifications outlined in the service agreement

Hosting and Maintenance Services

For ongoing hosting and maintenance services:

  • Cancellation: Clients may cancel hosting or maintenance services with 30 days written notice
  • Refunds: Refunds for prepaid hosting or maintenance services will be prorated based on the remaining service period
  • Data Transfer: Upon cancellation, we will provide assistance with transferring your website and data to another provider

Third-Party Services

Some services may involve third-party providers (such as hosting, domain registration, or software licenses). Refunds for third-party services are subject to the policies of those providers. Klixarundlox will assist in facilitating refund requests but cannot guarantee refunds from third parties.

Change Requests

Significant changes to project scope, design, or functionality requested after work has commenced may result in additional charges. These changes will be discussed and agreed upon before implementation. Change requests do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund unless mutually agreed upon.

Force Majeure

Klixarundlox shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or internet service provider failures. In such cases, we will work with clients to find reasonable solutions.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute regarding refunds or returns:

  • Contact Us: First, please contact us directly to discuss the issue and attempt to reach a resolution
  • Mediation: If direct communication does not resolve the dispute, we may engage in mediation through a mutually agreed-upon mediator
  • Legal Recourse: As a last resort, disputes may be resolved through the New Zealand legal system in accordance with our Terms of Use

Consumer Rights

This Return Policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under New Zealand law, including rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986. If you are a consumer, you may have additional rights that cannot be excluded or limited by this policy.

Modifications to This Policy

Klixarundlox reserves the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. The policy that applies to your service agreement is the version in effect at the time you entered into the agreement.
